Motorcycle Road Testing
Motorcycle Road Schedules
We offer motorcycle road tests in both southeastern and northern Michigan. The test evaluates the candidate’s ability to safely and effectively operate a motorcycle. The quick assessment is completed on a vehicle range and can be broken down into two components of evaluation:
Basic Control Skills: The test primarily revolves around a series of maneuvers that test vehicle control. The candidate will be required to demonstrate successful turning, stopping, obstacle avoidance, etc.
Engine Stall: Stall prevention is a key part of the assessment. Throughout the test, the examiner will be focused on ensuring the candidate has the acumen to prevent excess stalling, but also to successfully remediate any stalling activity when it occurs.
Candidates who successfully complete the road test can apply at a Secretary of State office for a motorcycle endorsement on their driver’s license.
All schedules are subject to change.
